In order to launch a language DAO, an individual must first become a member of Samhita DAO. After becoming a member, the individual can click on the 'Join Samhita DAO' option located on the bottom left corner of the homepage then on 'Create Language DAO'.
Clicking on 'Create Language DAO' will redirect the individual to a template page. On this page, there are three preconfigured language DAO templates available for selection: Company, Membership, and Reputation templates. To view more details about each template, the individual can click on 'Show More'.
After reviewing the templates, the individual can select the one that best suits their needs by clicking on the chosen template and then 'Use This Template'. This will redirect them to the template dashboard.
The individual will then need to fill out their Language DAO information, which includes the Language DAO name and description.
The next step is to configure the Voting settings. The individual will need to set the voting support, minimum approval, voting period, voting stake, and proposal stake.
Voting support is the minimum level of support needed for a proposal to be considered valid, typically expressed as a percentage of membership participation. For example, an individual may require 20% of members to support a proposal in order for it to be considered valid.
Minimum approval is the percentage of members that approve of the template out of the voting support percentage that is set.
Voting period is the duration of time that the proposal is open for voting.
Proposal stake is the amount that will be staked while creating a proposal, which will be refunded if the proposal is approved and withheld if it is not.
Voting stake is the amount a member of the language DAO will stake to vote for a proposal, which will be refunded if the member's vote aligns with the majority and withheld if it does not.
The next step is to configure the language DAO's token settings. The individual will need to fill in the token name, symbol, token holder's address, and balance.
Once all the necessary information has been provided and reviewed for accuracy, the individual can launch their Language DAO.
