SamhitaDAO is designed to empower communities to preserve and share their endangered languages by providing a safe space where language communities can come together to preserve and celebrate their unique linguistic traditions.

SamhitaDAO understands the value of preserving endangered languages, and the project is aimed to ensure that these languages don't fade away into obscurity.

Through the project’s decentralized platform, a safe space is being created where language communities can come together to share their unique perspectives on the world.

The decentralized platform utilizes a range of database templates, including lexical, text, speech, audio, and video databases, to capture and organize linguistic resources in a standardised format.

These templates enable communities to create dictionaries & grammar guides as lexical databases, scripts & literature of a language in text format and dialects, stories, folklongs of a language in the form of audio/video. These capture the essence of a language, making it easily accessible and usable for future generations.

The project incentivizes community members to write templates by awarding royalties when a language template is being used by other members of the language DAO.

This means that community members who create useful templates for the project will be rewarded. By incentivizing participation in this way, the Samhita DAO project is able to tap into the collective knowledge of its community and create a valuable resource that benefits everyone involved.
